Colonel Kapoor (Ashutosh Rana) is a stern patriarch and ex-prisoner whose pride is an ancient sword from the British era that formerly belonged to Lord Hussey. His grandkids, on the other hand, are a horde of terrors who refer to dad as ‘jungle bail.’ They even use a cunning scheme to drive away a home tutor. Meanwhile, Aakash (Meezaan), Kapoor’s younger son, is scheduled to marry the daughter of his father’s friend Bajaj (Manoj Joshi). When a young girl named Vaani (Pranitha Subhash) appears on their doorstep with a baby in her arms, the Kapoors’ life is turned upside down. She says that Aakash is the father of her daughter Gehna.

Priyadarshan wants to show his 1994 Mohanlal-starrer Minnaram is a Bollywood style by borrowing aspects from it. However, it is his out-of-date handling of the story that makes it a tedious experience. If you’ve binge-watched his earlier comedies like Hera Pheri, Hungama, Hulchul, Malamaal Weekly, and others, be prepared to be disappointed. From the start, Yunus Sajawal’s screenplay is a disaster. The discussion between Anukalp Goswami and Manisha Korde gets a little vulgar at times. Not just the humor, but even the sad sequences in Hungama 2 hardly tug at your heartstrings.
